How to update plugin

Backing up

You may backup your data and settings for Flow-Flow at any point of time. Just navigate to Database tab on Plugin’s settings and make it happen. It gives you 100% protection from any mistakes during upgrade or smth like this.

Download the latest version

We’re working on auto-updates but it is not ready yet. You can download the latest version of plugin on CodeCanyon. Don’t forget to sign in CodeCanyon account that was used for purchase.

Updating via WordPress Admin Panel

  1. Download and unzip the plugin.
We encourage you to install the latest version of the plugin through the CodeCanyon.
  2. Deactivate the plugin from within your WordPress dashboard, in the Plugin section.
  3. Uninstall the plugin.
Once you have your plugin deactivated, uninstall it completely. You can uninstall the plugin from within your WordPress dashboard, in the Plugin section.
  4. Upload new version to WordPress.
Login to your WordPress account, and navigate to the Plugins section on the left sidebar of your dashboard. Select Add New. You will have the option to upload a plugin (flowflow.zip) manually, and select the file. Once this is completed, activate the plugin.

Updating via FTP

You might wish to use FTP instead of uninstalling and reinstalling. Unpack the plugin ZIP file, which will give you the flowflow folder. Upload the new contents of this folder into the already existing folder located in …/wp-content/plugins/ directory.

If your FTP program asks you to overwrite the existing files, you should allow it.
